22.12.06 Aspirations and Emotions Dr Elena Stephan (University of Southampton). In this study we explore the relationships among emotions, motivation, and behaviour. Participants will be presented with four short series of questions that asses the themes of interest. The survey requires 5 to 10 minutes for its completion.
12.12.06 Body Image Guilt and Influences on Ideal Partner Choice   Lindsay Fisher & Dr Bridget Waller (University of Portsmouth). This study involves answering questions from two short two questionnaires. The first will ask you questions about traits you would like in an ideal partner, and the second will ask you some questions regarding the way you view yourself and your body. It will take about 15 minutes to complete.
30.11.06 Estimating Uncertain Quantities Andy McColl (University of Durham). The study looks at comparisons between holistic evaluation of highly uncertain quantities, and evaluations derived through algorithmic decomposition.

The research has three parts consisting of short questionnaires and a word search puzzle. It should take you 10 - 30 minutes to complete.

02.08.06 Factors that predict body weight profiles in pet dogs Jill White (University of Southampton) This questionnaire is targeted at any dog owner who has a dog over the age of 18 months, and who is the primary carer for the dog. The study investigates factors that could predict various weight profiles in dogs, such as diet, exercise, owner attitude, the presence of children or other dogs, etc. It will also provide insights into the human-companion animal bond, specifically in regards to pet ownership styles and attachment. Takes approx 20 minutes.

31.07.06 Trust and Risk in the workplace  Dr. Monica Whitty (Queen's University Belfast, Northern Ireland) The purpose of this study is to ascertain how individuals in different countries use their work computers and/or laptop computers. It also asks how they protect their work computers and/or laptops from security risks.
10.07.06 Rape Myth Acceptance Levels and Symptomatology in Females Amie C. Kolos & Amber E.Q. Norwood (Graduates of Towson University, Currently affiliated with Johns Hopkins University {Amie Kolos} & University of Maryland, Baltimore County {Amber Norwood}, USA). Rape myth acceptance is frequently looked at in males, but rarely in females. This study asks females to rate their agreement with a number of statements relating to rape and sexual assault. The survey includes a section on stressful life events and symptoms as well.
