Attachment Pathways to Deliberate Self-harm: Mediating Effects of Emotion Regulation, Suppression, Reactivity and the Roles of Anger and Shame

This study will look at how Self harm behaviours are influenced by individuals’ styles of attachment. The research will attempt to map the motives for self-harming behaviours by identifying the emotional patterns featured in insecure types of attachment (avoidant and anxious).
